The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the gross agricultural production of all types of producers (agricultural enterprises, agricultural farms and population households) in January-September 2022, according to preliminary estimations, in current prices amounted 28176,9 million lei, that is 81,7% (in comparable prices) compared to January-September 2021.

The decrease of the gross agricultural production was determined by the decrease of the crop production by 23,5% and in livestock production by 5,9%.

In the third quarter of this year agricultural production decreased by 22,2% compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year, including vegetable production - by 24,2% and animal production - by 6,5%.
